Work Covers and Other Assessment
Work Cover Assessment
Our psychiatrists and psychologists are accredited by the Work Cover Authority of the NSW as Assessors of Whole Person Impairment (WPI).
We undertake work cover assessments offering range of services including:
- Initial consultation
- Treatment
- Take part in teleconference and injury management plan
- Providing work cover certificates and assessing fitness to work, and
- Shared care with GP’s for continuation of treatment
For this process to start an initial approval by the insurance is mandatory and claim details sent to our office via email or fax. Following the initial assessment a report is forwarded to the insurance seeking approval for further sessions.
There is no out of pocket expenses unless insurer has not provided prior approvals.
Guardianship Tribunal and Testamentary capacity
We provide reports for tribunal and psychological assessment for testamentary capacity.
These services incur a fee, which cannot be reimbursed through Medicare and are charged at rates proposed by Australian Medical Association (AMA).
Employment Assessment
This service incurs a fee, which is not reimbursed through Medicare.
Police Department Suitability
This service incurs a fee, which is not reimbursed through Medicare.
Department of Defense
This service incurs a fee, which is not reimbursed through Medicare.
